MacBook Pro – My First Ever Apple Product

Hi there! I finally did it. I took the first step towards a new experience. I have been using Windows machines since I started computing and I had several reasons for it – like the …. wait for it …. the price tag and then of course availability of solutions to common problems associated with Windows. Today, am happy to say that I am now a MacBook owner! Let us go celebrate – but after work.

So how was your first encounter like? Mine was kind of weird because I did some stupid things while getting no responses. I am used to double-tapping the touch-pad on my Windows 8 laptop to actually select something. Double-tapping the mac’s touch-pad kept me asking myself ” what the heck is wrong here?” You got to love it either way!

Perhaps one of the coolest things about a Mac is its quality – seriously, it is awesome. It is thin and also lighter than my HP! But there is more. The main reason why I had always wanted a Mac computer was, well, am a coder. It is true that as a developer, having a terminal like the one a Mac has simplifies a lot of stuff. It is pretty neat!

That being said however, I will still use my good old friend here  – Windows 8 Pro. They say a devil you know is better than an angel you don’t know right? But it is good to know both an angel and a devil!

For now, I am going to learn the ins and outs of this product because I will be using it heavily going forward.

I would like to know how your first experience with an Apple product was like – most specifically if you were a Windows User who either switched completely or added a Mac to your toolkit.  If you switched, why? If you would rather keep your Windows machine, share the reasons below.

There is one important thing to know – we live in a free world. We are free to use whatever we choose and no one can force us to do what we don’t want. There is so much love/hate talk out there about how Apple products are awesome while Microsoft Windows or any other OS suck. On those grounds, I take no sides. I believe if a product meets your needs, then good for you. If not, find a better one!

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again soon. Take care and please remember to subscribe. Oh, please share this post with your cool friends using the buttons below!
