And The Android Tablet Winner Is ……..(Announced Today)

I have been planning to announce the winner of the Free Android Tablet I announced two weeks or so ago in a previous post. The good news is that I will do so today in this post and it could be you! It took me a while to decide on who the winner was, not because it was necessarily hard but because of time – working Monday – Friday every week leaves me with weekends to do other stuff (like writing blog posts and projects). Anyway, here we are and it is time to see who the winner is.

So, as I said before, I really wanted to give this tablet to someone who was deserving enough. The main uses of this tablet include regular stuff like surfing the net, emails, reading etc but the purpose of this giveaway was to help an android developer test apps on a real device before publishing them on Google Play Store.

There were many entries for this contest and at some point, I wished I was rich enough to send one tablet to each person who entered – a good chunk of my paycheck and a very tough talk with my landlord? Maybe one day I will do that!

And The Winner is …………………………….

After a long time of random picks and decision making, I have picked Erin Ellis  from California (United States). She is also on Google+ and other social networks. As I said, I picked the winner randomly. Here is her photo:

So, congratulations to Erin Ellis of California on winning a Free Android tablet for not only developing android apps but also daily internet browsing among other things.

How To Collect Your Prize

Collecting your prize is as simple as contacting me through the contact page or gmail ( with your full name, and shipping address. Once I receive those two pieces of information, I will mail the tablet to you free of charge! Note: there might be a verification step to ensure that I am sending the tablet to the right person!

In Summary,

Thanks to everyone who entered to win this tablet. Unfortunately, as I said, only one person can win a single tablet at a time. I wish you all the best and have great weekends.
